Summary
We worked with Upwork on a study entitled “AI-Enhanced Work Models” to understand the disconnect between how AI is driving productivity between the C-Suite and employees. Between April 16 and May 5, 2024, 2,500 global C-Suite and employees were surveyed to gain insight into how AI is increasing employee workloads, hampering productivity, contributing to burnout, and why skilled freelancers can help solve those issues. The results uncovered that while business leaders are investing heavily in AI, most organizations are currently failing to unlock the full productivity value of the technology.
